We won’t give away too many details here. A ninja is always ready for the unexpected! Just remember we are an obstacle focused 5k. You may have to help your fellow ninjas, get wet, dodge projectiles, and use your inner ninja strength. The course is designed to be fun and challenging. There will be volunteers helping at each obstacle and we recommend running with friends so you can work as a ninja team!

Winners will be announced on our facebook page and on our website. Awards will be handed out one hour after last wave or mailed to the winners not present.

When to Arrive

Everyone knows it is impossible for ninjas to be stuck in traffic because they would just leap from car roof to car roof. But to be safe, we recommended that all participants arrive one to two hours prior to your race time. Remember that once you get there, you still have to:

  • Park
  • Check in
  • Attach bibs
  • Check bags
  • Make your way to the starting line dojo.

Parking is FREE, but we highly encourage you to be green and carpool in order to reduce traffic.

Check in and Packet Pick-up

Race day packets will be available one hour prior to the first wave at the packet pick-up dojo. Please have your Photo ID and waiver ready or you will not be able to participate (And no, you will not be able to out-ninja us and sneak in)

Early packet pick up is at Omega Sports North Hills on June 8th from 4 PM – 7 PM.

Your packet will include the following:

  • Race bib (Includes RFID timer, free beer ticket, and bag check ticket)
  • Safety pins
  • T-shirt
  • Ninja Headband
  • Sponsor promotional goodies (Ninja SWAG)

What to Bring

  • Valid Photo ID (You will not be able to participate without one)
  • Your signed waivers – ninja challenge waiver and drake’s landing waiver
  • A plastic bag for wet clothes, a bag for a change of clothes and personal belongings. There will be a bag check station
  • Spending money for beer, food, and Ninja Challenge gear.
  • Your Ninja Spirit. Just because ninjas are trained in the art of espionage, doesn’t mean they can’t be fashionable. Participants with the best ninja costume will be rewarded with some awesome Ninja Challenge gear.

There will be a gear check tent. Just remember to KEEP YOUR BIBS after you complete the race. Your gear will be organized by your bib number.

What Not to Bring

  • No outside alcoholic beverages
  • No weapons/firearms
  • No glass containers

Ninja Replenishment

A true ninja is able to survive on nothing but their sense of honor (and maybe some ramen). Ninja’s don’t normally need replenishment, but just in case, there will be water stations every mile and at the finish line of the course. Food vendors will be available for all participants and spectators to enjoy. Please do not bring outside alcohol, beer will be available to purchase.

Results, Photos

Feel free to post your awesome race day photos on our facebook page. Our photos will be posted online a few days after the event.

Super Ninjas

Behold our Super Ninjas! They are hand selected super ninja assassins! Well… maybe not assassins, but they are top notch athletes that you can try and defeat in the race. Check out their bios below. If you beat the Super Ninja in your wave you will be added to our Super Ninja Hall of Fame and get a chance to win entry into future races as a Super Ninja.
